My Story

About the Founder

Hi, I’m Dr. Andrea Pearson Rosenbaum—founder of Havivah Mama, practicing pediatrician, and a mama myself.

Like many women, I was frustrated by the lack of high-quality, thoughtfully designed maternity and nursing wear. I wanted clothing that was practical, beautiful, modest, and made to last—without compromising my values or my identity. So I created what I couldn’t find.

Havivah Mama was born out of a deep respect for motherhood and a desire to support women through one of the most vulnerable and transformative times in their lives. I design clothing for women who want to feel confident in their changing bodies, comfortable in their day-to-day lives, and proud of what they’re wearing—inside and out.

Our pieces are ethically made in the U.S. and Europe by work-from-home mothers earning a fair, living wage. We use only natural, body-safe fabrics and prioritize timeless silhouettes that move with you, honor modesty, and reflect a quiet elegance. Every item is easy to care for, fit-tested by real mothers, and thoughtfully built with details like discreet nursing access, higher necklines, longer hemlines—and yes, pockets.

At Havivah Mama, we believe beauty, comfort, ethics, and motherhood are not mutually exclusive. Our mission is to help every woman feel well-loved—in every season of her motherhood journey.
